Karma was born when two hairstylists were passionate about creating a salon space that felt upscale and professional but never stuffy or pretentious. Nikki Friel and Mari Ann Ciarrocchi started Karma in 2008 during an uncertian economy, and 16 years later we continue our goal of providing exceptional service in a relaxing environment.

Arriving for Appointments

For their safety, children are not allowed in the cutting area unless they are receiving a service.   We are sorry for any inconvenience.




For the safety and comfort of all our clients, we ask that you refrain from bringing dogs or other animals into the salon. It is against the PA State Board of Cosmetology to bring animals, with the exception of working animals, in to the salon. We appreciate your understanding.


We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a same day cancellation and subject to a fee.

We are a team of professionals and we encourage you to try the work of all our specialists. 

Cancellations & No-Shows

All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to time of service, otherwise a fee of up to half the cost of service may apply. 
*NOTE: Cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled appointment or appointments canceled after the scheduled time of the appointment will be considered a no show.


Returns & Exchanges

All retail items (products, etc.) are NON-REFUNDABLE but can be exchanged for alternate products or returned for in-store credit. Make-up and styling tools are not returnable. All fees for services rendered are expected at time of service. We accept cash, check, visa, mastercard and discover. We must receive payment the day of service in order to reconcile our bookkeeping.
