salon & spa

Karma was born when two hairstylists, passionate about their craft, were looking to create a salon that would meet their ideology. They desired a Salon that would have a professional, upscale environment while maintaining a warm, comfortable atmosphere, a salon where all clients  would feel welcome. It was from this idea that Karma was created. Over the past 13 years, Karma has continued to maintain its identity, at the same time growing and evolving. Started in 2008, in an uncertain economy, Karma has thrived through the hard work of its staff and owners, and the loyalty of its clients.

How we Started

Arriving for Appointments

For their safety, children are not allowed in the cutting area unless they are receiving a service.  Children and babies in strollers are not allowed in the cutting area while a parent, friend, or sibling etc. is receiving a service. Please make arrangements for small children if you plan to be in the salon for an extended period of time. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

For the safety and comfort of all our clients, we ask that you refrain from bringing dogs or other animals into the salon. We at Karma are dog lovers; however, many of our clients are not. In addition, many people are allergic to dogs, and most importantly, it is against the PA State Board of Cosmetology to bring animals, with the exception of working animals, in to the salon. We appreciate your understanding.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a same day cancellation and subject to a fee.

Cell Phones

Choosing a Staff Member

Turning cell phones/pagers off or to silent mode while in the salon is highly appreciated.

We are a team of professionals and we encourage you to try the work of all our specialists.

Cancellations & No-Shows

All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to time of service, otherwise a fee of up to half the cost of service may apply. Clients with 3 no-show* appointments within a 1 year period must pay with a credit card at time of booking. NO EXCEPTIONS.
*NOTE: Cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled appointment or appointments canceled after the scheduled time of the appointment will be considered a no show.

Returns & Exchanges

All retail items (products, etc.) are NON-REFUNDABLE but can be exchanged for alternate products or returned for in-store credit. Make-up and styling tools are not returnable. All fees for services rendered are expected at time of service. We accept cash, check, visa, mastercard and discover. We must receive payment the day of service in order to reconcile our bookkeeping.
